What is G4S Mobile Video Surveillance?
Mobile video surveillance is intended for sites of a temporary nature that are constantly changing and therefore the need to relocate surveillance cameras is frequent, or for places with no electricity.
G4S assesses the risks of the site, maps the guarding needs and prepares an offer, installs the necessary surveillance equipment and specifies the guarding mode and alarm response conditions. G4S has the largest number of patrol crews among Estonian security companies - 75 crews are constantly moving around. This makes it possible to react very quickly in the event of an alarm and prevent theft or damage.
The installation of security equipment is fast and does not require wiring. Mobile video surveillance can be controlled via the web and/or a simple and user-friendly mobile app. You can turn the security on and off with the application. What equipment is used by the Mobile Video Surveillance?
Mobile video surveillance uses equipment from the Estonian company Reconeyez. Reconeyez smart cameras are ideal for outdoor environments. The devices withstand wind, rain, high and low temperatures. The cameras are equipped with an infrared spotlight, and the alarm images are checked by artificial intelligence in the data cloud bank. This allows the camera to analyze movement on the site and reduce false alarms. For example, the device is able to distinguish a cat from a thief. The cameras are powered by batteries that last up to 400 days or 50,000 surveillance events. It is possible to install an additional battery if necessary.
All mobile video surveillance data travels over the air and is stored in a state-of-the-art secure data cloud bank. In case of an alarm, the client receives a notification via the web application. The message also reaches the G4S Control Centre, where events are responded to around the clock.
