Water rescue training

The training is intended for coast guard staff or individuals who wish to work as coast guardsmen, as well as for swimming instructors. The training is conducted by G4S trainers and partners who have professional training and long-term work experience.

The trainees will be able to recognize dangerous situations, prevent them and act in dangerous situations. Participants will receive a certificate of completion of the training, and upon passing the professional exam, a professional certificate "Lifeguard, level 3".

Content of the training:

  • introduction and organizational issues,
  • psychology: human types, solutions to situations, teamwork, communication in public space,
  • swimming pool practice: competitive swimming, applied swimming, 300 m test, accelerations, rescue techniques, transport techniques, searches,
  • rescue theory: history, equipment, rescue, search, practical exercises,
  • first aid: assessment of the victim's condition, resuscitation (theory), bleeding, fractures, other more common accidents, splinting and bandaging (practice),
  • physical education,
  • swimming pool and open water practice,
  • water rescue.
