Transillumination device
The aim of the training program is to provide knowledge on the techniques of working with the transillumination device and the analysis and interpretation of the image displayed by the device. The training is intended for everyone who uses transillumination equipment in their work.
Participants of the training will acquire:
- knowledge of possible ways of concealing prohibited items,
- knowledge of the possibilities and limitations related to transillumination devices or measures used,
- knowledge of the principles of selection of inspection methods, depending on the nature of the objects to be inspected,
- ability to correctly interpret what is displayed on the transillumination device,
- ability to recognize prohibited items and hazardous substances,
- ability to perform a manual search at a level that reasonably ensures the detection of hidden prohibited items,
- ability to react appropriately when finding a prohibited item.
