Kaspar Taimsoo

G4S is now supporting the talented rower Kaspar Taimsoo, who has won many medals. We believe that he is no stranger to any Estonian who watched the 2016 Rio Olympics, where he won a bronze medal with Allar Raja, Andrei Jämsä, and Tõnu Endrekson.

According to Kaspar Taimsoo, G4S is well suited to support him, as they share common values: ‘Both G4S and I stand for the same values – an environmentally friendly and safe lifestyle is important to both of us.’

Kaspar Taimsoo started rowing in 1997 in Viljandi. He is a 35-time Estonian champion in different boat classes. He is also the Lithuanian champion of 2009 and the Australian champion of 2013 in double sculls.

He has won a gold (2009) and silver medal (2010) at the European Rowing Championships and a bronze medal (2009) at the World Rowing Championships in double sculls. He has also won bronze medals (2015, 2017) and a gold medal (2016) at the World Rowing Championships in quad sculls.

Taimsoo has been bestowed both an Order of Merit of the City of Pärnu and an Order of Merit of the White Star, Third Class.

His hobbies are very diverse: he holds the world record of 7.15 m in kiiking, set in 2015.

Kaspar Taimsoo’s next big goal is to win the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
