BC Kalev/Cramo evolved out of a junior team Ehitustööriist (Construction Tool) that was created nine years ago. The investment in Estonia’s young players bore fruit in 2004 when they won the Estonian Championship for the first time. In 2005 the team name was changed to BC Kalev/Cramo, and in spring 2006 the team was once again crowned Estonian Champion. Since 2006 they have also played in the EuroChallenge and in the SEB Baltic Basketball League. In 2007/2008 they reached the top six in the Baltic League. The team won the Estonian Cup in 2006, 2007 and 2008, and in 2009 and 2011 they became Estonian Champions.
