G4S considers being a responsible company very important and aspires to account for the economic, social and environmental impact of our business, aiming to maximise the benefits and minimise any negative impact in all of our companies all over the world.

In 2011, G4S participated for the first time in the Responsible Business Index TOP 2011 competition in Estonia and achieved the shared 20th/21st place with 73.8 points. The competition was held for the fourth time and competitors in 2011 included 58 companies and 2 public organisations. G4S Eesti and all the other companies that achieved a total result of at least 70 points out of the maximum 100 in the responsible business index are granted the right to use the official quality label of a responsible company (together with the relevant year) in their communications for one year.
“G4S Eesti regards the title as great recognition. It confirms that we conduct our activities in consideration of the interests of our customers, employees and cooperation partners as well as the local community and the whole of society. We will continue to contribute to these areas with the aim to make Estonia more secure,”said Andrus Ossip, Chairman of the Management Board of G4S Eesti.
The Responsible Company competition is organised by the non-profit organisation the Responsible Business Forum (Vastutustundliku Ettevõtluse Foorum).

Furthermore, the company’s credit rating was again assessed to be AAA. With all this, we prove to our employees, customers and suppliers that we are a sound and reliable cooperation partner that fulfils the obligations assumed.
Responsibility in the business operations of G4S has been recognised before. In 2010, Tartu City selected G4S as the most responsible enterprise in Estonia. In the same year, Tallinn City Government recognised G4S with the title of the most child-friendly enterprise. On three occasions, G4S has also been recognised for its activities aimed at children by UNICEF’s Estonian National Committee with the Annual Bluebird Award.
